Texas A&M University-Central Texas was chosen as one of the first seven schools in the nation to have an on-campus counselor from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The VA has placed a full-time, experienced Vocational Counselor on the TAMUCT campus. This counselor will serve as a "one-stop liaison" for Veterans, active duty military and their eligible family members who attend or plan to attend TAMUCT.
