Research Compliance

The Compliance Officer at Texas A&M University-Central Texas provides training and support to faculty, students and staff in regulatory requirements for scientific research. The Compliance Officer seeks to promote and ensure the highest standards for research compliance throughout A&M University-Central Texas.

The Compliance Officer provides some administrative and operational support for Texas A&M University – Central Texas' research compliance oversight committees including the following:

  • Institutional Review Board (IRB)
  • Export Control Committee
  • Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) (coming soon)
  • Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) (coming soon)

Services provided to faculty, staff, and students by the Compliance Officer include:

  • Assisting with preparation of committee protocol applications
  • Conducting training (workshops, individual, group, classroom, etc.)
  • Providing guidance on research compliance at TAMU-CC
