Required Disclosures and Consumer Information Disclosures

This webpage provides a comprehensive location for links to information about Texas A&M University-Central Texas on a variety of subjects which may be helpful to prospective students, their families, high school counselors, as well as prospective employees, current students, and current employees. This information is presented to comply with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, which requires institutions of higher education to disclose information and reports on various aspects of the institution's policies, procedures, operations, and costs.

Non-Loan Related Disclosure Requirements

  • Notice of Availability of Institutional and Financial Aid Information – A notification is emailed to each enrolled student annually during the Fall semester. General information about the institution may be found online and in the university catalog. Financial aid information may also be found online or in the university catalog. Paper copies available upon request.
  • Contact information for assistance in obtaining institutional or financial aid information – Contact information for obtaining assistance in obtaining institutional or financial aid information can be found online as well in various institutional publications.

Student Financial Assistance

  • Student Financial Assistance Information: Students can find information about student financial assistance on the department's website or in the university catalog.
  • Notice of Federal Student Financial Aid Penalties for Drug Law Violations: The Office of Student Affairs sends out a notice of Federal Student Financial Aid penalties for drug violations. Alcohol and Drug Education Programs are managed by the Office of Student Affairs.
  • Study Abroad Programs – There are many opportunities for study abroad and each may affect a student's financial aid package differently. It is best to speak with a Financial Aid Advisor for more information when a student is exploring the possibilities of studying abroad.

General Institutional Information

Health and Safety

  • Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program - The Office of Student Affairs sends out notification of Federal Student Financial Aid penalties for drug violations. The Office of Student Financial Assistance notifies students of their loss of eligibility and ways to regain it as those cases occur.

  • Fire Safety Report & Fire Log – Texas A&M University-Central does not have on campus housing and is not required to produce a fire safety report. General fire safety information can be found in the annual campus security report online.

Student Outcomes

  • Retention and Graduation Rates – As an upper division institution offering junior and senior coursework for the completion of baccalaureate degrees, TAMUCT is unable to report retention and graduation rates as defined and reported on the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Institutional information may be found on the Online Institutional Resume published by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
  • Placement in Employment – Not applicable if we do not calculate job placement rates. Career & Professional Development within the Office of Student Affairs publishes certain salary information and types of employment obtained by graduates in an annual report based on survey responses from alumni. TAMUCT does not calculate an "official" placement rate.

Intercollegiate Athletic Programs

  • TAMUCT currently does not participate or offer athletic programs.

Voter Registration

  • Voter Registration Forms – Student organizations conduct voter registration events in the weeks leading up to registration deadlines. Students may also access information about registering to vote in Texas online at http://www.votetexas.gov/
