Returning Undergraduate Student
Returning students, sometimes referred to as former students or readmits, are students who previously attended A&M-Central Texas and wish to return to the university after sitting out one or more long semesters. Generally, returning students must follow the below steps in order to be considered for readmission to the university:
Step 1: Admission Application
Complete and submit the undergraduate application by visiting
www.applytexas.org and selecting an application type of Readmit, Undergraduate.
Step 2: Pay Application Fee
Pay the $45 non-refundable application fee via your electronic application or pay by cash, check, money order, or credit card in our Business Office.
Step 3: Submit Official Transcripts
Submit final official transcript(s) from all college-level institutions attended since last attending A&M-Central Texas. Transcripts must be received in a sealed envelope either from the issuing institution or hand delivered to Undergraduate Admissions. If your previous institution(s) participate in the sending of secure electronic transcripts (eScrip-Safe, National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, or Credentials Solutions) transcripts can be sent electronically to the Undergraduate Admissions email address:

Additional Returning Undergraduate Student Information
At Texas A&M University-Central Texas, we understand life happens and sometimes students are forced to put college on hold and sit out a semester or longer. That's why we try to make the readmission process as seamless as possible.
- Returning students who have not enrolled at any other college or university since last attending A&M-Central Texas will be readmitted to the university. This means most of the time, no additional transcripts are required and the admission process is expedited.
- Returning students who have enrolled at another college or university since last attending A&M-Central Texas must submit official transcripts from the college or university and must meet all general admission requirements.

Returning Graduate Student
Returning graduate students, sometimes referred to as former students or readmits, are graduate students who previously attended A&M-Central Texas and wish to return to the university after sitting out more than one year.
For graduate students who have been out for less than one year, see Reactivation Following Non-Attendance section below.
Generally, returning students must follow the below steps in order to be considered for readmission to the university:

Complete and submit the graduate application by visiting
www.applytexas.org.
Step 2: Pay Application Fee
Pay the $45 non-refundable application fee via your electronic application or pay by cash, check, money order, or credit card in our Business Office.
Step 3: Submit Official Transcripts
Submit final official transcript(s) from all college-level institutions attended since last attending A&M-Central Texas.
Reactivation Following Non-Attendance
Within one year of non-attendance, former students may elect to receive a one-time re-activation, forgo the re-application process and maintain their continuing student status at A&M-Central Texas. Former students requesting re-activation must do so before the start of the semester they plan to re-enroll and must be in good academic standing or under suspension contract in order to be eligible.
