Higher Education Leadership Recommended Sequences

Course sequences identify degree-related courses that are taken in order to fulfill a specific degree or program requirement. Courses are usually taken in a specific order, as earlier courses may be prerequisites for later courses or will include fundamental concepts required in following semesters.

All Higher Education Leadership courses are offered online, and students can start during any academic semester.  The program is offered in two tracks:

  • 2-year track: Students take 1 course every 8 weeks
  • Accelerated 1-year track: Students take 2 courses every 8 weeks

Students wishing to complete the program in greater than one year are encouraged to take one course per eight-week session. There are no prerequisites for any of the courses, so there is not a mandated sequence of courses. Students should direct all advising questions to Dr. Morgan Lewing at morgan.lewing@tamuct.edu.
