University Center of Applied Research and Engagement (UCARE) promotes partnerships and collaboration between community organizations in the greater Central Texas area and Texas A&M University–Central Texas.UCARE
The University Center for Applied Research and Engagement (UCARE) provides faculty and staff with unique opportunities to collaborate on research projects with local, state, and national governments and nonprofit organizations. UCARE also plays a vital role in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, integrating real-world experience with academic learning.

Why UCARE?
Undergraduate and graduate students program evaluations and research for community organizations. A&M–Central Texas’ students gain real-world experience in data collection, problem solving and much more, while providing Central Texas community organizations with a low-cost service.
