The Research Compliance Officer (RCO) at A&M–Central Texas provides training and support to faculty, students and staff in regulatory requirements for scientific research. Through those, the RCO seeks to promote and ensure the highest standards for research compliance throughout A&M University–Central Texas.
The RCO provides administrative and operational support for A&M–Central Texas’ research compliance oversight committees including the following:
- Institutional Review Board (IRB)
- Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)
- Export Control Committee
- Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) (coming soon)
Services provided to faculty, staff, and students by the Research Compliance Officer include:
- Assisting with preparation of committee protocol applications
- Conducting training (workshops, individual, group, classroom, etc.)
- Providing guidance on research compliance at A&M–Central Texas
