The Warrior Collaborate Initiative

Leveraging the infrastructure of the Aggie Collaborate Program at TAMU allows multiple programs using common infrastructure to be launched. Leadership programs will be open to faculty, graduate students, and experienced undergraduates. Scholar programs will be open to collaborative teams of undergraduates.

Warrior Collaborate is a university-wide initiative designed to connect faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduates in purpose-driven teams that advance the teaching, research, service, and outreach missions of Texas A&M University-Central Texas (A&M-Central Texas). By fostering collaboration across disciplines, Warrior Collaborate provides structure, recognition, and opportunity for individuals to engage meaningfully in shared projects that strengthen the Warrior community.

As a High-Impact Practice (HIP) all A&M-Central Texas students can gain valuable research experience through this program. The Warrior Collaborate Initiative aims to enhance research capabilities and bring together interdisciplinary groups of researchers by:
• Providing all undergraduates with access to impactful research opportunities by connecting them to various ongoing projects
• Offering graduate students, the opportunity to lead a team of undergraduates, advancing their research while gaining mentorship training and recognition

To ensure the entire A&M-Central Texas community has full access to transformative experiences, it is essential to recognize that opportunities are not just given, they are created. Warrior Collaborate provides a means to engage in authentic, real-world projects to produce research and innovation by expanding access to collaborative projects to center the student experience.
