UCARE – Community Engagement and
Mentoring Programs
University Center for Applied Research and Engagement (UCARE) provides faculty and staff with unique opportunities to collaborate on research projects with local, state, and national governments and nonprofit organizations. UCARE also plays a vital role in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, integrating real-world experience with academic learning.
Why UCARE?
How can UCARE help your organization? Undergraduate and graduate students conduct program evaluations and research for community organizations. A&M–Central Texas’ students gain real-world experience in data collection, problem solving and much more, while providing Central Texas community organizations with a low-cost service.

Student Research Symposium
A&M–Central Texas Hosts Student Research Event
Texas A&M University–Central Texas hosted its third annual Student Research Symposium. Organized by the Division of Research and Innovation with support from the Psychology Club and the Psi Chi Honor Society, the symposium brought together 15 student presenters whose projects spanned fields including technology, biology, anthropology, psychology, education, and cybersecurity.
