The Collegiate Advertising Awards group institutions by size, with individual submissions competing against peer universities in designated categories and divisions. Gold Awards are presented to work receiving the highest scores in their category.

Launched to showcase the people, purpose, and impact of Texas A&M University–Central Texas, Momentum was recognized in a competitive field of colleges and universities from across the United States and Canada.

Each entry was evaluated by a national panel of higher‑education marketing and design professionals and scored on criteria including creativity, editorial concept, layout and design, message effectiveness, and overall quality.

The Gold Award–winning inaugural issue places Momentum among the top five percent of entries nationally and features graphic design by Bonnie Johnson of Perry Facility & Office Supply, whose work helped establish the magazine’s visual identity and cohesive editorial presentation.

Momentum was produced by the A&M-Central Texas Communications and Media Relations Office as part of the university’s broader storytelling and brand‑building efforts.

The magazine’s cover was also featured in the 2025 Collegiate Advertising Awards winners’ showcase. All winners are posted on the Collegiate Advertising Awards website at www.collegiateadawards.com.
