Texas A&M University-Central Texas welcomes public to Pathfinder Palooza

Texas A&M University-Central Texas will host Pathfinder Palooza, a free outdoor celebration featuring water attractions, carnival games, food vendors and live entertainment, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, outside Warrior Hall. The event welcomes students, employees, families and community members as the university begins the 2026-27 academic year.

Organized by the Campus Activities Board and Student and Civic Engagement, Pathfinder Palooza will feature a water slide, dunk tank and foam pit, high striker, skee-ball, trampoline and trackless train. A live DJ will also perform.

“Ultimately, we hope everyone who attends leaves with a stronger connection to A&M-Central Texas, a sense of excitement for the year ahead, and the feeling that they are truly part of the Warrior community,” said DeMarcus Parker, New Student Programs coordinator.

Attendees planning to participate in the water should consider brining a towel and change of clothes.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Tatazo Food Truck, Soda Fusion, Zaza’s Burgers & Hot Dogs, Tamales Del Norte, B’s Treats and HTeaO.
