Overview
Texas A&M University–Central Texas became a stand-alone university in 2009 as an upper-level institution. It is one of 12 universities within the Texas A&M System. The College of Business Administration (COBA) is one of three colleges at the university, along with the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education and Human Development. COBA enrolls approximately 888 undergraduate students across three departments: Accounting and Finance, Computer Information Systems, and Management and Marketing. In addition, COBA enrolls 276 students in the MBA and MS programs.
COBA offers undergraduate degrees in accounting, business, computer information systems, computer science, information technology, finance, human resource management, management, and marketing. In addition to the general MBA degree, COBA offers Master of Science (MS) degrees in accounting, information systems, and leadership. COBA has 32 faculty members, three advisors, and three administrative assistants. The College is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
