By Demetra Paizanis,
Enrollment Marketing and Communications Manager –

Texas A&M University-Central Texas will host a Carter BloodCare blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in Bernie Beck Lecture Hall on the first floor of Founders Hall. The drive is open to students, employees and community members.
“We organized this blood drive to support our community and help meet the ongoing need for blood donations,” said Debbie Morrison, assistant director of human resources. “We hope to encourage our Warriors to give back, make a lifesaving impact, and show that even one small act of kindness can make a big difference.”
Eligible Texas A&M University System employees may receive sufficient paid time off to donate blood up to four times per fiscal year under the system’s leave regulation. Employees must obtain supervisor approval before taking leave and provide proof of donation when they return to work.
Donors must bring photo identification. Appointments are available at https://www.greatpartners.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/177304, and walk-ins will be accepted. For questions, contact Morrison at [email protected] or (254) 519-5707.
