Texas A&M University-Central Texas Hosts Halloween Costume Contest
By Demetra Paizanis,
Enrollment Marketing and Communications Manager –

Texas A&M University-Central Texas will host its 14th annual Halloween Costume Contest from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct 29, in Bernie Beck Lecture Hall in Founders Hall.
Sponsored by Staff Council, the contest is open to faculty, staff and students. Participants may enter individually or as a group and may perform an optional skit as part of their entry. There is no maximum group size or time limit for skits.
Individual and group entries will be judged on creativity, originality, effort and presentation. The first-place individual and group winners will receive lunch parties.
“I think the moments that best capture its appeal are the reactions when someone walks in wearing an unexpected or especially creative costume. Those shared laughs and memories are what keep traditions like this going,” said Christina Acevedo, an enrollment services advisor at A&M-Central Texas.
Entry is free. Contestants must register by Oct. 28 at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/ZM1RzLH1fZ. The university is at 1001 Leadership Place in Killeen. For information about entering, contact Staff Council at [email protected].
