Overview

Serving Our Communities: The Texas A&M University–Central Texas Police Department provides valuable training and important information to the university and surrounding communities.

In addition, the Texas A&M University–Central Texas Police Department serves the university community by providing physical security and protective services. Furthermore, the department gives communities throughout the Central Texas region access to valuable training opportunities and important safety information.

Additionally, Texas state law, Texas Education Code 51.203, and the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents establish the University Police Department.

Moreover, the university chief of police leads the department, while full-time and part-time officers and non-sworn employees support its operations. As a result, the department effectively serves the campus community and advances its public safety mission.

The department provides excellent customer service, protects the campus community, and maintains a safe learning and working environment for everyone on campus. In addition, the University Police Department educates the campus and local communities about personal safety, crime prevention, and crime awareness.

Report an Incident, Accident or Safety Concern

Anyone may report an incident, accident, or safety concern. You do not need to be an employee to submit a report. Complete the First Report of Injury or Illness Form to report an incident, accident, or safety concern.
