Communications Coordinator –

Texas A&M University-Central Texas will host the Fall 2026 Internship & Career Fair, a free recruiting event open to all job seekers, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the Bill Yowell Conference Center in Warrior Hall.
Attendees will have opportunities to speak directly with employers about internships, entry-level opportunities, and part-time and full-time positions. Participating employers include the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Killeen ISD< the Texas State Auditor’s Office, and the Sherwin-Williams Company. Employers may schedule follow-up interviews with candidates they meet at the fair.
“Job seekers should come prepared to make the most of that access by researching participating employers, brining an updated resume and being ready to confidently discuss their skills, experience, and career goals,” said Keisha Holman, director of Career and Professional Development.
Career and Professional Development will offer two events before the fair to help students prepare. Operations Closet Come Up will help students find professional attire from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in the Bill Yowell Conference Center. The Professional Pop-Up will offer elevator-pitch practice from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the Warrior Hall lobby.
Business casual attire is recommended for the fair, and attendees should bring several printed copies of their resume. All attendees will check in at a table outside the Bill Yowell Conference Center.
Advance registration is encouraged through Oct. 6, but walk-ins are welcome. Students and alumni may register and view the live employer roster through the university’s HireWire career platform at https://tamuct.12twenty.com/events/30006101366171.
