Texas A&M University-Central Texas will host Crafty Creations: Crochet Day, a free event where students, faculty and staff can learn basic crochet skills or work on projects in progress, from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in the University Library lounge.

All experience levels are welcome. Library staff will facilitate the event, and participants may keep what they make.

“We hope someone trying it for the first time learns more about the library while they are here,” said Kelly Williams, reference and instruction librarian. “We also hope they learn a new hobby!”

No registration is required. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Attendees may also bring their own materials or projects in progress.

For more information, contact the University Library and Archives at [email protected] or (254) 519-5798.
