V. Carson Pearce is the director of the Aviation Science degree programs at Texas A&M University – Central Texas.

V. Carson Pearce is the director of the Aviation Science degree programs at Texas A&M University – Central Texas. Mr. Pearce holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Leadership with University of Alaska – Anchorage and a master's degree in Executive Leadership, Human Services with Liberty University. He was awarded the U.S. Army’s Legion of Merit medal for his career work in aviation flight, safety and accident prevention. He was also awarded the State of Alaska’s Legion of Merit medal for his work in aviation safety programs.

Mr. Pearce has an extensive background in military, collegiate and civil commercial aviation. He is a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer Four, U.S. Army Master Aviator with over 6,400 hours flight time in both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, nearly 5,000 of which were flown in the challenging Alaskan flight environment. Mr. Pearce served as the Statewide Aerospace Division Director and the Statewide Transportation Division Director for Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas.  He developed the rotary-wing degree program, managed five aviation degree programs and introduced innovative strategies for student success.
