ECHS Students Thrive at A&M–Central Texas

ECHS students exhibit a keen sense of understanding how to get the biggest return on their college investment. Taking college courses in high school and even graduating with an associate’s degree means you’re ahead of the game when it comes to earning your bachelor’s degree.

At A&M–Central Texas we build on that head start by offering special programs for ECHS students. As the state’s only upper-division university, we cater to students looking to transfer credits and complete a bachelor’s degree. We will make sure you get full value for all applicable credits that directly feed into our degree programs. We also provide services that will help you succeed.

Greater Texas Foundation Warrior Scholars Program

The GTF Warrior Scholars Program provides financial assistance to ECHS graduates pursuing a bachelor’s degree. This scholarship program provides $2,000 a year for up to 3 years to qualifying ECHS graduates. It also provides other networking, career exploration, leadership and team building, and community engagement opportunities for program participants.

Transfer Central Program

If you’re an ECHS graduate who hasn’t yet completed 60 college hours, you can join Transfer Central and streamline your college journey. Transfer Central will lend you a helping hand in tracking your college credits as you attend a few more classes at one of our community college partners. We will also show you which courses will transfer directly into our degree programs.
