Program Overview
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction at Texas A&M University–Central Texas is a 100% online program that prepares you to analyze student data, utilize research, and employ best practices to enhance the quality of teaching, training, and learning in any classroom or workplace. The courses are specifically designed to provide you with a wide range of experiences, enabling you to serve as expert teachers, mentors in schools, or training professionals. You will have the opportunity to take 18 hours in your field or content area to teach dual-credit or undergraduate college courses. Students in the Alternative Certification Program may take additional courses to earn their master’s in education, as well as teacher certification. Prior K-12 classroom teaching experience is not needed to begin the M.Ed. program.Â
