Employees Recognized for Going “Above and Beyond”

A&M–Central Texas celebrated 12 employees at the 2026 Spring Convocation recognizing 10 staff members and two supervisors who routinely go “above and beyond” in the performance of their jobs.
Made possible by gifts made by two prominent local families, the Beck family and the Yowell family, the awards are the result of peer nominations and include a commemorative plaque and a $1,000 gift for each award recipient.
The 2026 Staff Awards recognize Andrew Woodward, Financial Aid Advisor III; Asia Terry, Human Resources Generalist II; Debbie Morrison, Assistant Director, Human Resources; Jerry Jaime, Administrative Associate III, Enrollment Management; Karen Clos, Director of Communications & Media Relations; Marissa Perez, Human Resources Generalist II; Mia Coltrane, Manager, Graduate Services; Natalie Bailey, Payroll Administrator I; Patrice Taylor, Academic Advisor II; and Walter Murphy, Assistant Vice President, Division of Research and Innovation.
Recipients of the 2026 Distinguished Supervisor Award include Yoon Jae Jeon, Assistant Director, Student Success and Experiential Learning, and Loida Gonzalez Utley, Director of Recruitment and Enrollment Services.
