Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program prepares students for positions in public and privates agencies and organizations at national, state, and local levels, such as law enforcement, community and institutional corrections, and research.
Highly qualified faculty who have both real-world and scholarly experience lead the Criminal Justice program. These faculty leaders enrich your learning and prepare you for a variety or careers or continuing studies within the Master of Science in Criminal Justice program at Texas A&M University-Central Texas. Students in the program find a supportive environment that challenges and empowers them to explore their individual interests in the wide realm of study in contemporary criminal justice. The program’s diverse inventory of upper-level classes balances the major domains of criminal justice, including law enforcement, corrections, courts, victims, offenders, and practitioners.

Student Organizations
Membership in the Criminal Justice Association (CJA) is open to criminal justice and non-criminal justice members who are interested in the field and want to engage in service within the local community and region. Membership can help criminal justice majors gain field knowledge and propel their careers after graduation.
Honor Society
Exemplary students can join TAMUCT's Omega Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma (criminal justice honor society).
