Welcome to the Warrior ROTC Website! The Warrior ROTC is part of the Texas A&M University–Central Texas ROTC Company, a satellite to the Tarleton State University ROTC Battalion. Our unit is part of the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps or Army ROTC commissioning program.
ROTC is the world’s premier leadership development program and is the largest commissioning source for the United States Army. Army ROTC offers scholarships that enable students to complete their degree plan of choice along with a Military Science curriculum and commission as 2nd Lieutenants in the United States Army. Vision
Provide Texas A&M University–Central Texas with a world class leadership development program dedicated to the education and development of ethical, selfless leaders that provide character forged leadership to the nation, local communities, families and the profession of arms.
Mission
The U.S. Army Cadet Command partners with universities to recruit, educate, develop, and inspire Senior ROTC Cadets in order to commission officers of character for the Total Army; and partners with high schools to conduct JROTC in order to develop citizens of character for a lifetime of commitment and service to the nation.

Basic Camp is a one-month long training event held every year at Fort-Knox, Kentucky. Cadets receive training in military basics.

When your spouse, son or daughter joins the Texan Battalion we understand that their welfare is of the utmost importance to you. We are committed as an organization to the welfare and well being of our cadets in all aspects of their life on and off campus. Our goal is to inspire in them a very high sense of the importance of ethical behavior, responsibility, and academic excellence.
We are dedicated in all aspects of the Texan Battalion ROTC program to live the Army values and instill in those who aspire to a career as an Army officer the importance of these values. These values, simply stated are described by the acronym LDRSHIP… Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. These are not just words – they are part of our Soldier’s Creed and are the building blocks of character forged leadership. We are committed to these values as a way of life.

When you become a part of Army ROTC, you’re not just working toward a diploma, but an even brighter future as a leader alongside other motivated Cadets. But make no mistake, you’re a student first. You’ll have a college schedule like your fellow students, but you’ll also receive classroom and field courses that will challenge and excite you. Beyond that, you can take part in events and activities with fellow Cadets that will make your college experience even better.
