Chester Xiang
Chester Xiang is an Associate Lecturer of Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Management & Marketing at Texas A&M University–Central Texas. He teaches courses in production and operations management, strategic sourcing and procurement, supply chain management, transportation, and business statistics.
Dr. Xiang earned his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests include manufacturing flexibility, transportation management, and distribution channel management, and his work has been published in leading journals such as the International Journal of Production Economics and the International Journal of Production Research. Prior to joining TAMUCT, he served as an assistant professor of supply chain management at Clarkson University, where he received multiple teaching awards and research grants. Before entering academia, Dr. Xiang worked as a manufacturing engineer at Ford Motor Company.
