Criminal Justice
Program Overview
The Master of Criminal Justice (MCJ) at Texas A&M University–Central Texas prepares students for careers, advancement, or a doctorate in the field of criminal justice. Our low student to professor ratio paired with highly-qualified faculty members that bring real-world experience provides a curriculum that will allow you to advance both academically and professionally.
As an MCJ student, you will gain research experience in criminology, victimology, leadership, ethics, homeland security, and race and ethnicity. A thesis track is offered for those wishing to pursue a doctorate in criminal justice. Master of Criminal Justice graduates realize a leg up on the competition in many career fields.
