Program Overview
The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Psychology prepares students who have earned technical, vocational, or military education to advance in their careers and to pursue graduate study in psychology and related fields. The Psychology BAAS degree program recognizes credit for non-traditional educational experiences, and provides foundational knowledge and skills through quality, rigorous, and innovative coursework.
The A&M–Central Texas Psychology BAAS program is an ideal stepping stone for students looking to increase their earning potential and academic accomplishment through one or more advanced degrees in psychology.
The program is especially well suited to current associate-level Clinical Dependency Counselors and other practicioners who want to further their careers in psychology. The 120-hour BAAS program at A&M–Central Texas offers the potential to apply credits and training already earned toward a bachelor’s degree emphasizing the core psychology coursework.
