Texas A&M University - Central Texas only offers upper-level courses (3xxx-5xxx labeled courses), all lower-level courses (1xxx-2xxx labeled courses) will need to be completed at Austin Community College. For help with pathway planning, students should speak with an academic advisor. This pathway is intended for planning and visualization purposes only.

  1. The AA does not fulfill all the lower-level courses required for the undergraduate degree. Students will need to complete these remaining lower-level courses at Austin Community College. Please discuss the consortium agreement procedure with a TAMUCT financial aid advisor.
  2. All firsttime Austin Community College (ACC) students with fewer than 12 SCH of successful college credit must take the EDUC 1300 course in their first semester at ACC. All other students may select either EDUC 1300 or a speech course from the Component Area Option section of the Core Curriculum Course List. See a Music department advisor or a full-time faculty member for more information.
  3. Upper-level electives may consist of up to 6 credits of Fine Arts electives with approval of the advisor in place of MUSI upper-level electives.
  4. Summer semesters may be required to meet degree requirements throughout the program.
