Texas A&M University - Central Texas only offers upper-level courses (3xxx-5xxx labeled courses), all lower-level courses (1xxx-2xxx labeled courses) will need to be completed at Austin Community College. For help with pathway planning, students should speak with an academic advisor. This pathway is intended for planning and visualization purposes only.

  1. The AAT does not fulfill all the lower-level courses required for the undergraduate degree. Students will need to complete these remaining lower-level courses at Austin Community College. Please discuss the consortium agreement procedure with a TAMUCT financial aid advisor.
  2. Select from ENGL 2322, ENGL 2323, ENGL 2327, ENGL 2328, ENGL 2332, ENGL 2333, ENGL 2341, OR ENGL 2351.
  3. Biology elective excludes Nutrition.
  4. Students may fulfill this degree requirement by enrolling in ENGL 3320 or ENGL 3330 at TAMUCT.
  5. Courses may be taken during the summer.
  6. The following courses require a grade of 'C' or better: 12 credit hours of English, College Algebra, and approved Educational Psychology course and completion of 15 credit hours in the certification subject area.
