Texas A&M-Central Texas is an upper-level institution offering 3xxx-5xxx level courses. All 1xxx-2xxx level courses must be completed at a different institution.   1. Not all Degree Requirement courses are completed with the AA. Student will need to complete these remaining lower-level courses at the community college. Please consult a TAMUCT financial aid counselor regarding the consortium agreement process.
  2. An English Literature course is recommended.
  3. 12 hours of a Foreign Language or 12 hours of any combination of upper-level Linguistics or Foreign Language courses.
  4. The following courses require a grade of 'C' or better: 12 credit hours of English, College Algebra, approved Educational Psychology course, and 15 credit hours in the certification subject area.
