Naming Opportunities
Naming rights represent a brick-and-mortar reminder of the commitment of A&M-Central Texas donors and create a lasting impact on campus. Check out our 30-year Master Plan to explore the heritage of our campus development or explore the possibility of naming a classroom, alcove, academic lab, recreational space, lobby, lounge, fitness areas, seminar and study rooms, library spaces, and more.
Program and Faculty Support
Universities that recognize and support faculty through endowed chairs and professorships have the upper hand when it comes to recruiting and retaining top faculty members.
Program Enhancement Facts
- Program support provides resources for enhanced teaching and learning opportunities
- Professorship and chair positions serve as role models and strengthen the foundation of academic excellence
- Endowed funds perpetually support faculty
- Gifts honor or memorialize loved ones
Endowed Chairs – An endowed chair is a coveted position that brings prestige and distinction to an academic discipline and provides faculty support for research and creative work. It offers opportunities for program growth and development and recognizes scholarly excellence. Endowed chair positions recognize the generosity of donors in perpetuity and serve as a valuable tool in recruiting and retaining outstanding faculty members. The minimum funding level for an endowed chair is $1 million
Professorships – A professorship expands opportunities for exceptional faculty members by providing additional resources for teaching, research, and professional activities and development. Faculty members benefit from the coveted title, and students benefit from access to extraordinary professional development and interaction, insights, and leadership. The minimum funding level for a professorship is $100,000.
Capital Projects – As a relatively new University, A&M-Central Texas will continue to grow into its beautiful 672-acre campus. Contributions can be used to support existing facilities, complement existing structures and walkways, or even create new facilities.
