Abdul B. Subhani Abdul was born in Multan and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan. While in Pakistan he was involved in many community service projects and earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a young student. He came to the United States in 1998. After completing high school, he began local community college and eventually earned a Master’s Degree in Information Systems.

While working on his undergraduate and graduate degrees, he earned advanced credentials as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Certified Ethical Hacker, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control, a Certified Internal Controls Auditor, a Certified Internet Marketer, a Certified Project Manager for EBusiness, a Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist, a Texas Licensed Private Investigator, an FBI Infragard Member, a Certified E-Commerce Consultant and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer.

In addition to academic achievements, he has been, and continues to be, actively involved in the community in both academic and civic activities. He was a Past Chairman of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas and Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, past member of the Central Texas College Foundation board and past board member of the Killeen Independent School District Education Foundation. Currently, he is a member of Killeen Exchange Club, a Governor of the Central Texas-Fort Hood Chapter of Association of the United States Army, a member of the Scott & White McLane’s Children’s Hospital Advisory Board, member of the Texas A&M University Central Texas Foundation Board, and a Cabinet member of the Chancellor’s Council of the Texas A&M University System. In 2020, he was appointed by the Secretary of the Army to be his Civilian Aide. He was also recently appointed to the Yale School of Management Chief Executive Leadership Institute – CEO Caucus.

Abdul is committed to his involvement in philanthropic work. He is the President of the Subhani Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization he founded nine years ago. The mission of the Foundation is to support worthy nonprofit, charitable, and community-based organizations in an effort to encourage future generations appreciation and understanding of the potentials of technology and science through creative education and community outreach programs. This non-profit helps and supports other non-profits, including the Greater Killeen Community Clinic, Coalition for Healthy Living, Bring Everyone in the Zone (BEITZ), Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Killeen Food Care Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas and many more. It also provides scholarships to deserving students of Central Texas each year. Abdul frequently fundraises for many non-profits and/or donates his time and finances. He is also involved in an organization called Killeen Management Services, Inc. (KMSI) as an advisor. KMSI operates nine Bingo Halls in Central Texas and financially supports 17 organizations.

Abdul has received many prestigious awards to include: the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from the NAACP; the President’s Student Service Award in recognition of outstanding community service; Outstanding Achievement for Youth award from the Central Texas Youth Coalition Incredible Kids Celebration; and the State of Texas Small Business Award from the Office of the Governor and Texas Workforce Commission. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, a recipient of the 40 under 40 award from Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and was honored with the 2018 Best of Small Business CEO of the Year award. Abdul had the privilege of being recognized on the Inc 5000 list for operating one of the fastest growing companies of 2018. Most recently he was awarded Golden Deeds Award from the Exchange Club.

For 17 years he was an Adjunct Faculty member for the Computer Science & Continuing Education Department of Central Texas College. He has developed numerous non-credited computer courses for the CTC Continuing Education Department. He has also written three books: “Intro to WWW Marketing”, “Stay Safe – Introduction to Information Security” and “Smarter World, Bigger Threats – Understanding the Internet of Things”. Currently, he is an Adjunct Faculty member at Texas A&M University - Central Texas in the Computer Information Systems Department.

Abdul is President & CEO of Centex Technologies, an IT Consulting Company, which he founded in January, 2006. Offices are located in Killeen, Austin and Dallas, Texas and in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an investor in a Residential Property Management Company and in an Alzheimer’s Senior Care Facility. He speaks all over the world at various IT forums, conferences and seminars on many subjects including Ethical Hacking, Business Intelligence, Data Breaches, Internet Marketing, Information Security, IT auditing and Assessing & Auditing Social Media.
