Chelsea Warner Profile

Dr. Chelsea Warner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Her research interests include reading fluency, content area reading instruction and literacy, the integration of diversity and social justice through children’s literature, and teacher education. Dr. Warner earned an M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Reading Education from Auburn University, an Ed.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a M.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She previously taught elementary grades in Birmingham, Alabama and Washington, DC.
