Dr. Mary H. Kelly is an Associate Professor of Finance. Dr. Kelly joined Texas A&M-Central Texas in 2009 after receiving a doctorate in finance from Nova Southeastern University in 2008 and following extensive managerial experience with large corporate banks after obtaining an MBA from the University of Detroit and a BS in Finance from Michigan State University. Her teaching and research has been recognized by awards, grants, publications, and invitations to conferences that include: a Teaching Award for Classroom Excellence in Creativity, Knowledge, and Engaging Diversity from the Student Government Association of Texas A&M-Central Texas; a Research Grant from the Acton Institute; a Distinguished Research Award from the Business Studies Journal; an Outstanding Research Award from the Interdisciplinary Journal of Contemporary Research in Business; and other publications in the Global Economy Journal, the Mustang Journal for Business and Ethics, and in many programs from conference presentations. Dr. Kelly has been appointed and elected to numerous administrative and leadership positions for the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics, the College of Business Administration, Texas A&M University-Central Texas, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, and the Southwest Finance Association.
