Tyson Ang is an assistant professor of marketing at the College of Business Administration, Texas A&M University–Central Texas. He received his Ph.D. in Marketing from Southern Illinois University. His scholarly research focuses on social media marketing, digital analytics, and services marketing. His research has been published in highly ranked peer-reviewed journals such as European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Service Management, Journal of Services Marketing and Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice. He has presented his research at national marketing conferences such as American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing Science, Association for Consumer Research, and Society for Marketing Advances. He has been a reviewer for marketing journals as well as marketing conferences. He was a recipient of 2017 Faculty Award for Outstanding Quantitative Research/Scholarship at Texas A&M University–Central Texas
