It is the policy of Counseling Services to not use e-mail for communication of any kind with clients or potential clients:
  • Texas A&M University-Central Texas reserves the right to monitor e-mail usage, therefore; your privacy cannot be guaranteed.
  • The staff of the Counseling Center and Community Counseling & Family Therapy Center are not able to respond to concerns appropriately via e-mail communication.
  • Staff may only check their e-mails periodically during the day and not on weekends.

If you consider your situation to be a crisis and Counseling Services staff is not available, contact the Killeen Center Hotline at (800) 888-4036. For individuals who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing or speech-disabled- (800) 734-2988 (Relay Texas, Voice) or (800) 735-2989 (Relay Texas, TTY); or telephone 911 for your local emergency response system.

Please be prepared to spent 90 minutes with us at your first counseling appointment in order to complete initial electronic information forms. Our Guide to Services is attached for general information about the Counseling Center and its services.

The Counseling Center offers numerous brochures and handouts on various counseling issues to all employees and currently enrolled students. Self-help books may also be checked out through the Counseling Services office.
