DESCRIPTION:Nevárez-Ocasio\, a Junior Soprano Vocalist at Texas A&M Central Texas\, will present their senior recital on Sunday\, October 26\, 2025 at 6pm in the Jackson Graeter Backstage Theatre\, located in the Mary Alice Performing Arts center on the Temple College campus. Admission is free and open to the public. \nThe program will feature works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\, John Duke\, and Claud Debussy. Showcasing a range of styles from the Classical Era\, 20th century era and the late Romantic Era. J. will be accompanied by Li-Ping Wu on piano. J. has studied under Ms. Teri Johnson\, Instructor of voice and Opera\, and has participated in the Temple College Chorale\, Temple College Opera workshop and Temple College’s Vocal point ensembles. In addition to performing\, they have been active in the Central Texas Theatre music directing alongside Cory Jones. As well as singing for the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church choir.

She was born in Changchun\, China and grew up in Austin\, Texas\, where she currently lives.
