The Lookout: A Journal of Literature and the Arts

The Lookout is published annually by the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University . Central Texas and features poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction, photography, and visual art submitted by current students and recent alumni of TAMUCT. Any student currently enrolled in classes at TAMUCT (or recent graduates) may submit their previously unpublished creative writing or black-and-white photography/art work for possible publication in The Lookout in the spring.

Warrior Week
Warrior Week is one of several traditions at Texas A&M -Central Texas that provides an opportunity to express pride in our campus-community . This year's theme of 'Growing Together' not only reflects TAMUCT as a growing university, but one that strives to serve the central Texas region by educating its leaders of tomorrow while supporting its needs of today. The week will showcase an array of programs and celebrations demonstrating leadership, service and community, while engaging the entire Warrior Nation.

Distinguished Student Leadership & Service Awards Banquet
Each year, our students, faculty, and staff engage in amazing service to our institution and the larger Central Texas region. To recognize these efforts, the Division of Student Affairs hosts the Distinguished Student Leadership & Service Awards Banquet. The banquet is at 6pm at Warrior Hall. RSVPs are required by April 6. Contact Kiersten Peterson at (254) 519-5496. There is a $10 fee for family and community members. We encourage all members of the community to nominate someone or themselves for one of the awards. Nominations are due 5pm on April 1, 2015 to Student Affairs.
