Student Organization of the Year

Presented to the organization that has dedicated itself to the development of the individual members and campus community.

  • Must be officially recognized for one year with Texas A&M University - Central Texas
  • Organization must be in good standing with the university

Program of the Year

Presented to the group or organization that hosted the most creative activity, which benefitted the campus or external community.

  • Event occurred within the past academic year and efforts resulted in successful and positive outcome(s)
  • Organization that hosted event is recognized by Texas A&M University - Central Texas
  • Organization is in good standing with the university (for the past year)

Commitment to Community Service

A student or group who has made a difference due to their dedication in service to enhancing the university and/or surrounding communities.

  • If a student, must be currently enrolled and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and be in good standing with the university
  • If an organization or group, must be recognized and be in good standing with the university
  • Any service activities must have occurred within the past academic year
  • Efforts resulted in successful and positive outcome(s)

Commitment to Diversity

A student or group who has dedicated themselves to respecting, understanding, and including the core values of diversity education.

  • If a student, must be currently enrolled and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and be in good standing with the university
  • If an organization or group, must be recognized and be in good standing with the university
  • Any service activities must have occurred within the past academic year
  • Efforts resulted in successful and positive outcome(s)

General Pete Taylor Commitment to Leadership and Integrity

A student or group who demonstrates integrity, is honest and respectful in demeanor, and encourages others to strive for excellence.

  • If a student, must be currently enrolled and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA and be in good standing with the university
  • If an organization or group, must be recognized and be in good standing with the university
  • Any service activities must have occurred within the past academic year
  • Efforts resulted in successful and positive outcome(s)

Impact Award

A student who has positively impacted their office, the institution, or the community due to their role or duties as a student worker or graduate assistant.

  • Must be a currently enrolled student and maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA and be in good standing with the university

Ignite Award (Faculty)

A faculty member that has gone above and beyond to positively influence the TAMUCT community and enhance student success

  • Must be a full-time faculty member of the university
  • Cannot hold a position of Assistant-Vice President or above within the institution

Ignite Award (Staff)

A staff member that has gone above and beyond to positively influence the TAMUCT community and enhance student success

  • must be a full-time staff member of the university
  • Cannot hold a position of Assistant-Vice President or above within the institution

Outstanding Full-Time Faculty Member

Full-time faculty member who has made significant contributions inside and outside the classroom, while providing support and guidance to their students.

Outstanding Student Organization Advisor

Full-time faculty or staff advisor that provides excellent guidance and advice to a recognized student organization. Staff members in the Department of Student Affairs are not allowed to receive this award.
